Q: Why am I seeing different results when I search for the same keyword?

A: There are multiple datacenters which aren't always in synch. Therefore the same search can give different results. This is the same for all search engines.

Q: My site has fallen a few places, what's going on?

A: This could be a number of things, you could be just viewing a different set of results. Google has many data centres and they are not all in sync. It could be your competitors are have a larger marketing budget and are having more SEO work than yourself. SERPS are like the stock market you don't know if your site will go up or down.
